Grog Terra Cotta Tile Collection

Grog is a traditional baldosa-style terra cotta completely made by hand from start to finish. Tile makers hand-press raw terra cotta into plaster molds, then hand scrape or ‘screed’ the surface to form a flat but organic texture, making each piece unique. Traditional shapes and sizes feel fresh when paired with our rich non-traditional color palette, offered in two unique color groups featuring distinctly different processes. First a ‘glazed’ palette using high-clay content glazes that create a durable surface with a velvety matte finish in colors unexpected for terra cotta. Second an ‘unglazed’ palette highlighting the true color and tone of the terra cotta clay body. What makes this second group special, in addition to the classic red color, we have developed an innovative and extraordinary palette of ‘marbleized’ clay blended colors. 
 
Grog will stand the test of time, wearing beautifully and growing richer with use. Unglazed tiles can be finished with traditional paste wax for a natural earthy finish or enhanced with recommended sealers. Designed for interior floors and walls, Grog offers a stunning and soulful, warm and organic, traditional yet non-traditional solution for interior floors and walls.
